It finally fell apart on me during college.

A couple years later I ended up getting it really cheap at this bookstore. I think they were selling them for $4.95!!

I'm still using it and it has yet to fall apart on me :-)Bret M. I think I saved sketches of those drawings because the video was a rental - I was amazed at how it seemed like I could draw characters by following his tips.

How To Draw Comics the Marvel Way was one of the bibles fans carried around in their backpacks when I was a kid, although I recall Erik Larsen joked it should be called "How To Draw Marvel Comics Like John Busecema." :)Comicbookrehabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09363501054869978524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262904225776500345.post-46118554717681812242012-03-09T11:42:25.791-08:002012-03-09T11:42:25.791-08:00Nice!! To recommend three helpful books--out of print but well worth the search--I'll add Ken Muse's INTRODUCTION TO CARTOONING and SECRETS OF PROFESSIONAL CARTOONING and New Yorker cartoonist Richard Taylor's INTRODUCTION TO CARTOONING. Gene Byrnes's COMPLETE BOOK OF CARTOONING's also excellent and includes essays by Al Capp, Milton Caniff, Jim Flora and more.Brian Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00416309555241398967noreply@blogger.com
