Not quite on this day (since it WAS a Saturday) but on this date three years ago, Syd and I got married. I surprised her with this piece when she woke up this morning.
Its my first (but not my last) attempt at inking with a brush.Yep! You read that right! Inked on 9x12 Strathmore Smooth Bristol Board. Colors added digitally. Its taken from a sketch I did of Syd when we were eating a late lunch/early dinner at the Fish Shack in Rockport Massachusetts this past Monday. I thought I'd surprise her with a finished version of it when she woke up.
