Another Feb Fun in the books!!

I think I've been teaching classes during February Fun Week since I started working at the Worcester Art Museum in 2003. They were pretty overwhelming the first few years I started working here but they seem to have become a little less stressful every year.

But that could be just because I've finally gone crazy. That's debatable ;-)

My last class of the day was a bit of adventure. But that's to be expected with 5-7 year olds right after lunch. It's Friday. They just ate and the energy levels are at an all time high while their ability to focus has hit an all time low. I usually don't do 5-7 year olds very much. However, I do have two classes coming up in the Spring that are for that age group. Normally I'm dong the 8 to 10 or the 11 to 13 year olds with a 14 to 17 year old class thrown in here or there.

But somehow I ended up getting walloped with quite a few 5-7 year old classes this year. I have those types of school years from time to time. But then again this is one of those years where the Groundhog actually DIDN'T see his shadow, so anything goes.

Well, the day is done. I got a couple art commissions out of the way and I'm getting ready to hit up the Loving Hut with Sydney later. Last night I took her to the India Cafe for the first time. Which was my first time there since they remodeled the place. It looks great and the food is just as delicious as I remember it being the last time I was there.

But tonight we thought we needed our fix of the Loving Hut. Definitely check out both places when you have the opportunity.
