Commissioned Work: The Four Marx Brothers

I was commissioned recently to do a couple small pieces. One of the Four Marx Brothers and then one of Harpo Marx at the harp. I'm actually surprised I haven't done more artwork featuring the Marx Brothers.

Very cool-- I love the one with Zeppo, the forgotten bro!

I used to dislike stand Zeppo. He wasn't funny. Which some of that I think was due to the fact the writers didn't know how to write for him because he didn't have a schtick like his other brothers. But now I like the earlier films with him in them than their later ones. And seeing some of their later films I could see how they could have used him as the straight man. As much as I liked Night at the Opera and Day at the Races, Zeppo would have been so much better than Allan Jones in those movies.
